Support PiDome in development
If you like PiDome as much as we do and want to contribute, then, this can be done in several ways:
Contribute by making a donation
To put it down plain and simple, this project has it’s costs. We are not being backed by a big company or any other means then our self. Meaning we are buying hardware, have hosting costs, travel expenses, etc.. This all comes from our own pockets. We do not have problem with it what so ever, but it does limit us in what we can and want to achieve. Donations helps us to pay the bills for this project and make it possible to expand devices support and attend conferences to make our software better. Any donation made will and shall only be used for this project!
If you would like to contribute in any other way, read on :).
A pat on the shoulder
Well, who would not like this. If you got a spare minute you can give one using the contact form. It doesn’t cost a penny if you would do this outside of your work hours.
Contribute by writing plugins and/or drivers or help debug them
The best way to expand the platform’s support! That’s when the API is finished. We are currently still in alpha phase with the beta release coming closer and closer. When the beta release is done we will start writing down the full API. While we are in alpha releases it does not mean we can not build any support for devices. If you have a request you can send us hardware, or help us with us writing the software and have you test it.
Send us hardware
Another very good way to expand the platform’s support, currently it is the best way for us to be able to build in support for devices ASAP. As this helps in developing and debugging any issues we find. And off course, if you want your hardware back, we send it back. Use the contact form and select option PR/Other if you are interested in helping us this way.
PiDome is currently not a registered entity, it is just the three of us spending our free time. This means donations are currently not tax deductible.
